tastebudz's prices are guidelines that include initial food assessment and consultation, menu planning, grocery shopping service, meal preparation, clean up and reheating instructions. Clients pay this fee plus the cost of groceries.
The cost of groceries may be more depending on the food items chosen. For example, filet mignon, fresh seafood or truffles will cost more than chicken or ground beef. In addition, an all or partial organic menu will be more costly.
Payment in full is due on or before the cook date. tastebudz will ask for payment plus a grocery deposit at your initial consultation. If there is a difference between what is spent and the grocery deposit, we will reimburse you, or ask that you reimburse tastebudz depending on the food cost total. Please pay with cash or check.
Clients also pay an additional fee for food storage containers. You can choose to use disposable plastic containers, such as Gladware ($20 fee per cooking session) or reusable glass containers that you keep, such as Pyrex (one time fee of approximately $80).
